Hard to Lay Roots is the second single to be released from Kacee Clanton's upcoming album, Ashes to Eden, to be released (fingers crossed) later in 2023. The song was written and produced by Kacee Clanton and Bart Ryan, recorded at The Rock House Studio in Franklin, TN, mixed by Bart Ryan and Stephan Oberhoff at Creation Station Studio, Fairview, TN, and features Kacee (lead and background vocals), Jack Bruno (drums), David Santos (bass), Bart Ryan (guitars, lap steel), Kevin McKendree (keys), and Ray Yslas (percussion). It's a groovy song with a catchy hook, and is a testament to the influence of funky, greasy, laid back blues in Kacee's writing as a whole. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
